I think of August as a particularly important month for independents — while a lot of the political world tends to slow down, we can grab the moment, spend some time together, and get ready for the fall.

Hear some updates, get some easy organizing tips and talk with independents across the country and welcome them to the Let Us Vote community. Every week, thousands of independents are signing up and we need your help to reach out.

The Spokesperson Training Program is now holding an open application process for its next session in October. Held on Zoom, the program offers independents and reform-minded citizens a creative space to develop your skills and share with others why you have chosen to be independent.
The evening includes an overview of who independents are, a chance to get your questions answered and some fun performance training from top-notch professional trainers.

Join our Independents Speak Out series and share your story of why you are an independent! One of the most important things we do at Let Us Vote is make independent voters more visible and harder to ignore.
In a survey of the Let Us Vote community, 91% of independents said that independent voters, now 43% of Americans, don’t get the respect we deserve from the media, the political parties and the candidates.
Let’s change that – let’s show them all who we are. Let Us Vote will share our stories on social media, with the press and with each other on our website.
